The hybrid working model is more and more popular

Hybrid working model is fast becoming a reality. In many cases, however, implementing this model will not be easy and will cause considerable confusion. According to Cisco specialists, the key role will be played not only by team leaders and work culture but also by the appropriate digital infrastructure.

As Cisco experts point out, hybrid working model consists of two elements – to enable people to perform duties from both home and the office and to adapt work tools.

Employees need to be able to collaborate from anywhere at any time with smart, secure, and stable tools. The key areas of growth that the business should focus on are:

    – supporting teams with the right tools,

    – securing an organization,

    – infrastructure development,

    – ensuring an appropriate experience for all users.

When announcing a return to the office, team leaders must keep in mind the well-being of employees who are not always enthusiastic about stationary work. With many months of performing duties from home, people have become accustomed to this model and appreciate, for example, the time savings in commuting to the office.

According to the report, “Companies Return to the Office and the COVID-19 Pandemic,” as many as 44 percent of respondents feel stressed and anxious upon hearing that they are going to return to the workplace, while nearly half are considering a hybrid model.

The COVID-19 pandemic made us realize that the office is not the only place we do our work from. So, it’s important to provide the same experience for people who work from home or a coffee shop, or even a car – for example, attending a meeting and using a speakerphone

The hybrid future of work undoubtedly requires a fresh look at workers and the space in which they operate. In addition to ensuring a safe return to offices, companies should rethink how they use space (e.g., by identifying workspaces that are over- or under-utilized) and make appropriate changes in real-time.

The future of work is undoubtedly a hybrid experience, but one that is more inclusive and relies on creativity with a simultaneous virtual experience that is sometimes better than a face-to-face meeting.
