Our Future Forum on September 23

On September 23, at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw, the second edition of the Our Future Forum conference will be held, organized by Our Future Foundation – a foundation associating students of leading Polish and foreign universities. Representatives of Polish business, public institutions, as well as high school students and students will meet to discuss how to fight the exclusion and inequalities of young people’s access to education.

On September 23, at the Our Future Forum conference, 200 selected participants will discuss the challenges facing Polish youth. Among them, there will be scholarship holders of the OFF Mentoring Program, students and graduates of the best Western and Polish universities, as well as high school students. The invited speakers will sit in four panels, and the debates will focus on adapting Polish schools to the requirements of the modern world, fighting brain drain, as well as on equalizing opportunities for Polish youth from smaller centers.

“The pandemic has shaken the foundations of Polish education, and its real effects will only be measured and assessed in a few years. Unfortunately, young people from small towns and villages suffered the most, and inequalities in access to education became an even greater problem. Today, we have to help them. It is a joint responsibility of Polish business, scientific institutions, the government, and local governments. Therefore, on September 23, we will meet with representatives of these institutions to discuss what actions should be taken and how wisely we should change the system of Polish education and higher education. We want Our Future Forum to be a place of non-partisan and substantive discussion about the problems faced by young people in our country,” says Michał Maurycy Mazur, the President of Our Future Foundation.
