One of the largest Polish conferences focusing on educational topics was attended by over 200 participants from all over the country. The organizer of the initiative is Our Future Foundation, a foundation that brings together students and young graduates of the best Polish and foreign universities. It was the second edition of this event.

The main goal of the conference was to develop effective methods of encouraging young Poles studying abroad to return to Poland. Importantly, the debates were also attended by students who certainly had a fresh perspective on the topics discussed. Participants noted that the main problem today was the unattractive labour market and the lack of programs to help students return to the country.

“Today 50,000 young Polish students are scattered all over the world. It depends on us and our decisive actions whether they will return to the country and supply our economy with their experience and skills. What we need today is a coherent strategy to combat the brain drain. Only thanks to the cooperation of business, administration and non-governmental organizations can we avoid losing this generation. We have to show them that opportunities for development and good work await them in Poland,” said Michał Maurycy Mazur, president of Our Future Foundation.
