The head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, announced on Tuesday evening that the government had adopted a bill on building security for the Polish border with Belarus. The project assumes the creation of a solid, high dam, also equipped with a monitoring and motion detection system - pointed out to the Minister.
Soloch was asked on Polsat News, among others, whether President Andrzej Duda is favourable to this project.
"Generally, as to the direction - yes. We already have specific proposals for provisions, we are currently analyzing. We are also in contact with government representatives. But when it comes to the direction itself, there are no fundamental doubts," assured the Chief of the National Security Bureau.
He added that "Mr President cares primarily about the security of the state and Poles, especially those who live in the border region, as well as the protection of the sovereignty of our borders."
