Hilary Majewski designed in the style of historicism, which was indeed the demand of his clients. Richly decorated buildings were to show the power and money of their owners. For himself and his family, the architect built a villa with a neo-Renaissance facade at Włókiennicza Street.
Currently, it is undergoing renovation, which, according to the conservators supervising the work, brings some discoveries almost every day. First of all, the polychromes, gilding and stucco ornaments were discovered, which survived despite the division of rooms into tenant's flats after World War II, which resulted in the devastation of the villa.
