Deputy head of the Ministry of National Defense and PiS (Law and Justice - ruling party) senator Wojciech Skurkiewicz was asked on Friday in "Signals of the day" in Radio Jedynka (Polish Radio Program 1) whether Polish military cooperation with the US looks the same today as during the presidency of Donald Trump.

"We do not see any changes, American soldiers are on the territory of the Republic of Poland, they train and increase their involvement and presence," Skurkiewicz assured.

"When it comes to Polish-American relations in the military area, they are absolutely at a very high level," he added.

He announced that "Patriot missile batteries will arrive in Poland at any moment".

"The turn of 2022 and 2023 will be the moment when Patriot missile batteries will be here in Poland," he informed.

"The first Abrams tanks, according to the preliminary agreement that we have in force, are to be delivered to Poland in 2022," he added.
