    The final days of the exhibition “Caravaggio and Other Masters. Masterpieces from the Collection of Robert Longhi” at the Royal Castle in Warsaw

    The Royal Castle in Warsaw invites you to the last days of the exhibition “Caravaggio and other masters. Masterpieces from the Robert Longhi Collection,” which is on view through Sunday, February 13, 2022. Since November, the exhibition has been visited by more than 42,000 people, and several thousand more participated in accompanying events prepared by the Castle, including lectures, debates and educational series also available online. The online offer dedicated to the exhibition reached nearly half a million viewers.

    On February 12 and 13, the exhibition will be open until 8 p.m. (the last admission is at 7 p.m.). Tickets can only be purchased at the Castle’s box office.

     

    The exhibit features “The Boy Bitten by a Lizard” by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, one of the greatest painters in history, as well as over forty canvases by artists from Italy and Northern Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries.

     

    “Caravaggio – Narcissus at the Spring. A Showcase of Paintings from the Palazzo Barberini in Rome” will be open to the public until Sunday, February 20, 2022. From February 15-20, tickets cost PLN 10 (PLN 1 for students).
