XIV European Economic Congress to start on Monday

The biggest debate on the challenges facing the European economy will take place on 25-27 April at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. As part of the programme of the 14th European Economic Congress, 150 events with 1000 speakers on topical issues and numerous accompanying events are planned – presentations, briefings, informal meetings and behind-the-scenes conversations.

Within the framework of the XIV European Economic Congress, business representatives, politicians and experts will discuss development trends that are crucial for the future of the Polish and European economies. The agenda of the 14th European Economic Congress was fundamentally revised due to the events in Ukraine.

“For years, the Congress has been describing not only the current economic reality. An important subject of this important debate remains the fuzzy future, which requires joint reflection and dialogue. We are pleased about the great interest in this year’s edition, we have already registered 8.5 thousand people,” Wojciech Kuśpik, Chairman of the PTWP Group, initiator and organizer of the European Economic Congress, said.

“The aggression of Russia and the war in Ukraine led to strong and profound changes in the economy. We need face-to-face meetings because so many new factors, risks and changes need to be discussed,” he adds.
