The 78th day of the invasion of Ukraine has passed. The Ukrainian counteroffensive north of Kharkiv continues to effectively push Russian forces toward the Russian-Ukrainian border. The effective actions of the Ukrainian military largely limit the ability of Russian artillery to strike the northeastern suburbs of Kharkiv.
Ukraine’s armed forces stop the Russian offensive in the south of the country. 1200 km of the border, including 2/3 with Russia, is now under Ukrainian control. Residents are beginning to return to their villages.
