Scorpions next year in Łódź. Tomorrow crowds at the concert in Cracow

TAURON Arena Cracow on Saturday (28th May) will be bursting at the seams at a Scorpions concert. It promises to be one of the biggest music events of the year. But if someone didn’t manage to buy a ticket, we have good news: On 26 May 2023, the band will return to the Atlas Arena in Lodz for a concert. Tickets will officially go on sale on June 2, but fan club members and Bilet Serwis users will be able to buy them earlier. The event is organised by the Prestige MJM agency.

Loved by several generations of fans and admired for decades. They recorded the greatest rock hits, which do not grow old at all and even gain a new meaning nowadays. The anthem “Wind of Change”, inspired by the events in Central and Eastern Europe in 1989, is now sung by Klaus Meine about Ukraine, which is waiting for its wind of change. The words “Now listen to my heart, It says Ukraine waiting for the wind to change…” will also resound on Saturday, May 28 at TAURON Arena Cracow, and will be accompanied by a spectacular action of unfurling two flags: Polish and Ukrainian.

Not only mean Scorpions “Wind of Change”, but also the power of other hits. The setlist of every concert cannot lack such ballads as “Send Me an Angel” or “Still Loving You”, as well as energetic “Big City Nights” and “Rock You Like a Hurricane”. These timeless hits will resound both on Saturday in Cracow and next year in Łódź. The cast-iron set is completed by songs from this year’s album “Rock Believer”, kept in the “style of classic Scorpions DNA” with compositions by the Schenker/Meine partnership. These songs too have fresh energy, provide adrenaline and possess an uncompromising quality.

With the latest album, released in February this year, the band has 19 studio albums and over 100 million records sold. How many concerts have they played? The band members probably don’t know how many gigs they have played for 57 years of their activity. But during this time the Scorpions have become Germany’s most successful rock band – with Pole Paweł Mąciwoda on bass – and one of the most popular music groups in the world. They are living proof that not only Volkswagen, Mercedes and BMW can compete internationally, but also classic rock music “made in Germany”. And most importantly, the Scorpions’ popularity is not waning at all.

“It’s amazing that the Scorpions are still going strong and gathering an audience that no modern star would be ashamed of. I think you can count on the fingers of one, maybe two hands the number of contemporary pop artists who, like the Scorpions, fill the biggest halls in Poland. The band is reaching its sixties, its founders are in their late 70, and the Scorpions legend still lives on. The concert in Łódź will be a rock feast,” says Janusz Stefański from Prestige MJM agency, which is the promoter of the Scorpions concert in Poland for the ninth time.

Next year’s Mother’s Day will be marked by a Scorpions concert. On 26 May 2023, the band will play in Atlas Arena in Łódź. Tickets will go on general sale on 2 June on biletserwis.pl. Scorpions fan club members will be able to buy tickets as early as 31 May, and registered users of Bilet Serwis – on 1 June. Scorpions concert will be organised by Prestige MJM agency.
