Poland started well in the first set with Belgium, but then nervousness crept into their game, they made their own mistakes and rivals took the initiative.

The second part of the game was much better for the Polish women’s team. Poles quickly gained a clear advantage, which they did not give up until the end of the set. In the third set the roles were reversed, this time it was the Belgian players who started very well and kept the advantage.

Polish players gained an advantage in the fourth set after two service aces by Martyna Czyrniańska. Both teams fought point-for-point for a long time with a minimal advantage for the Polish players.

The match was to be decided in the tie-break. Czyrniańska opened the match with a great performance, finishing with four points in a row. Then the Belgium team started to compensate for the lost points. After a service ace by Manon Stragier, they had the match ball. In the next action, she again showed off with a strong play and an attack by Silke Van Avermaet ended the match.
