Growing up in the shadow of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine is extremely hard for children and adolescents. Therefore, a new Community Health Center has been opened in Tarczyn today.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki took part in the opening of the Community Mental Health Center for Children and Adolescents in Tarczyn. The center offers medical and social support for children, their families, and peer groups. The facility operates not only stationary but also in the place of a child’s residence. It is significant to coordinate services for young patients and their families by all public services – social welfare centers, pedagogical and psychological counseling centers, general practitioners, and schools.
“These difficult circumstances force children to accept hundreds of stimuli. Our children are facing rapid changes related to growing up but at the same time, the situation around them changes rapidly as well and it poses various challenges for them,” Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki says.
