    Survey: Most Poles believe in not succumbing to Russia

    As much as 60 per cent of Poles say the fight against the Russians in Ukraine should be continued, the latest study by the CBOS pollster shows. Moreover, 60 per cent of Poles are convinced that Poland should not succumb to Russia.

    According to the published survey, nearly every fourth respondent (23 per cent) believes that peace is more important, even at the price of territorial concessions from Ukraine.

     

    Although the survey shows that some 40 per cent of Poles are now convinced that Russia’s war on Ukraine will not spread to other countries. What is more, three out of four respondents (75 per cent) feel it threatens Poland’s security.

     

    CBOS ran the survey on a sample of 1,084 people between June 26 and July 7.
