The DREMA trade fair has come to an end

300 exhibitors from 15 countries, hundreds of experts, and thousands of visitors – the DREMA trade fair has traditionally boasted record attendance and interest. Organised on 13-16 September at MTP grounds, the event provided an opportunity not only to showcase the latest innovative products and solutions but also to discuss the future of the sector.

“We are living in very turbulent times. We have not yet fully recovered from the pandemic, and we are already facing the geopolitical threat posed by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. And all this is in the context of broken global supply chains and an energy crisis. As societies and businesses, we are still facing further challenges,” Grzegorz Nowak, Area Sales Manager at WEINIG and one of the guests at DREMA, notes.

The representative of the brand specialising in the production of woodworking machinery and equipment at the Poznan International Fair adds that despite this uncertainty, he was optimistic about the future of the Polish woodworking and furniture industry.

“Polish products are appreciated by consumers all over the world. On the other hand, we have a strong, innovative market with investor interest. We should take advantage of this combination to ensure the long-term development of our industry, and thus the entire economy,” Grzegorz Nowak assesses.

DREMA is the only event in Poland on the list of 14 global exhibitions dedicated to the woodworking industry, officially supported by the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers EUMABOIS. According to the latest data from the trade fair institutions, the exhibition ranks fifth in the ranking of the world’s most important expositions, right next to Germany’s LIGNA, Italy’s XYLEXPO, the US’ IWF Atlanta and China’s WMF Shanghai.
