In eastern Poland, prosecutors suspect that a man deliberately set fire to his house, resulting in his death and the deaths of his three children.

The prosecutors in Bialystok opened an inquiry on Tuesday concerning the happening that occurred in Choroszcz on Sunday, causing the death of four people. Their most likely hypothesis is that a 45-year-old man ignited his own residence following a family argument, taking his own life and the lives of his three kids, aged three, eight, and ten.

Before the incident, police had received a call reporting a family dispute. After the call, the man’s wife left the home.

She phoned the fire department after discovering her abode was engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to rescue all four occupants from the residence, but sadly, all were declared deceased.

Bialystok prosecutor’s office spokesman, Lukasz Janyst, informed PAP that the act has been documented in such a manner that implies the murder was done through arson, according to the official reports of the fire.

Investigators discovered a possible ignition source at the location of the calamity; a receptacle holding a material thought to be utilized to spark the blaze.

Experts in the field of forensics are now attempting to identify what caused the death of the four people.
