In a remarkable event set to unfold this Saturday, November 18, Tychy will transform into the arena for the Legends Match featuring former world football stars. Notable giants of the sport, including Michael Owen, Alessandro Del Piero, Luis Garcia, and Marco Materazzi, have confirmed their presence.
The driving force behind this prestigious event is the Safe Server Solution Foundation, supporting young Polish sports talents in underfunded disciplines. The Legends Match – Polish Business League offers a unique opportunity for both renowned athletes and entrepreneurs. By contributing a designated sum, the latter will have the chance to play on the GKS Tychy stadium alongside football legends.
The football luminaries gracing Tychy include England’s former standout Michael Owen, Italian football legends Alessandro Del Piero and Marco Materazzi, and Spain’s Luis Garcia, once a key player for Liverpool and a UEFA Champions League winner in 2005.
The event kicks off with a showcase training session with youth players at 13:30, followed by the Legends Match with the Polish Business League at 15:00. Former Polish national team representatives Radosław Majewski and Damian Gorawski, along with goalkeeper coach Grzegorz “Gabor” Jędrzejewski, known from Canal+’s Turbokozak program, will also grace the field. Renowned football referee Szymon Marciniak will officiate this prestigious match.
The entire event, lasting approximately 3-4 hours, promises numerous attractions for fans. Łukasz Krasiński, a representative of the Safe Server Solution Foundation, emphasizes that proceeds from the event will fund sports camps for talented youth, providing them with the opportunity to train under the guidance of top specialists.
