In the last match of the United Cup semi-finals, Alicja Rosolska and Lukasz Kubot faced the American pair Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz. The white and red players lost 1:2 (7:6, 4:6, 6:10). In the whole competition, the rivals triumphed at 5:0.

In the group stage, the white and red team defeated Kazakhstan 4-1 and Switzerland 3-2, thus advancing to the next round. There, they defeated Italy 3-2 in the ‘city final.’ The USA, Poland, and Greece advanced to the semi-finals as winners of this round. The Italians as “lucky losers” joined the top four.

The Poles had to turn the tide in their clash with the USA to advance to the final of the competition. On the first day, the Poles lost 0:2. On the second day, Hubert Hurkacz started the competition. Unfortunately, he lost to Taylor Fritz 6:7, 6:7, thus losing the chance to advance to the final. Magda Linette then took to the court, and she too suffered a defeat in her clash with Madison Keys 4:6, 3:6.

In the last match, Polish pair Rosolska and Kubot faced American Pegula and Fritz. Once again, the USA proved to be the better tennis team. They won 10:6 and can now prepare for the final of the event.
