    Ukrainian prisoners from Azovstal transferred to Russia and at the same time the Russian MFA accuses Ukrainians of war crimes

    Ukrainian war prisoners from Azovstal have been transferred to Russia for “further investigation” and at the same time the Russian MFA spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in today’s briefing, accuses Ukrainian troops of war crimes in Ukraine. According to her, every day during Russia’s special military operations, Russians “reveal new evidence of crimes committed by the Ukrainian troops.”

    “Every new day of Russia’s special military operation reveals new evidence of crimes committed by the Ukrainian troops,” spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said during a briefing today (June 8). 

     

    She also added that Ukrainian troops continue killing civilians and shelling Donbas settlements. 

     

    “Over the past few days, more than a dozen peaceful civilians have died and scores have been wounded in Ukraine’s attacks on Donbas,” she added.

     

     

    As she pointed out during the briefing, all the bodies would be scrupulously investigated by Russia and Donbas republic. She also warned that the perpetrators would be punished. 

     

    Earlier today, Russian News Agency TASS quoting a source in law enforcement, informed that “over 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen, surrendered in Mariupol, were transported to the Russian Federation for investigation.” Read also

     

    “Over 1,000 people from Azovstal have been transferred to Russia. Law enforcement authorities are closely working with them. In the near future, after conducting face-to-face interviews with a number of prisoners of war, the investigators are also planning to transfer them to Russia,” informed TASS.
