According to the knowledge I obtained from the Internal Security Agency, the cyberattack on Polish politicians and officials was directed from the territory of the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at today’s briefing. During his visit to Mikołów, he said that we were dealing with a “modern version of a hybridwar”.
“According to the knowledge I have obtained from the Internal Security Agency, it is indeed an attack in a broad sense from the territory of the Russian Federation,” said the Prime Minister when asked about cyberattacks.
“We should all be aware that the analysis of the data presented to us by the services, as well as the services of friendly and partner countries, unfortunately confirms the thesis that Polish politicians, officials, various political options, but in particular the rulers, were as a society, as a country, attacked with a cyberattack from beyond our border,” added the head of government.
The Prime Minister assured that conclusions would be drawn from mistakes in this matter.
“Today, let the services work, identify evidence, collect evidence, explain, secure many boxes that have fallen victim to a hacking attack from outside, inspired by the Kreml,” said Morawiecki.
