“Gazeta Polska” Clubs will manifest their opposition to Brussels’ practices towards Poland! – We have reached a critical moment and it is time to say ‘no’,” says Tomasz Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Polska”. Club members will gather in front of the European Commission headquarters in Warsaw on October 1 at noon.
On Friday (October 1) at noon, “Gazeta Polska” Clubs will demonstrate in front of the European Commission Representation Office at 14/16A Jasna Street in Warsaw in a huge manifestation under the slogan: “You will not extinguish Poland”.
The idea to start the protests was born in the face of successive decisions of the European Commission and the CJEU aimed directly at depriving Poland of its sovereignty – both in the sphere of lawmaking and energy – which have all the hallmarks of blackmail.
“We want to assert Poland’s right to equality in Europe. We need to ensure that stronger countries do not impose anything on weaker ones, that our energy sector is not destroyed, that judicial reforms are not imposed on us in a non-treaty way, and that the Polish Constitution is, in fact, the most important document which determines the independence of Poland,” says Tomasz Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Polska” and “Gazeta Polska Codziennie”.
The President of “Gazeta Polska” Clubs Ryszard Kapuściński emphasized in an interview with Niezalezna. pl, the necessity of starting protests due to the constant harassment of Poland by the European Commission and the EU Court of Justice.
“It is time to start protesting against the idiotic moves of the CJEU and their judges,” he said.
Kapuscinski also expressed hope that other patriotic organizations would cooperate in this regard.
“We hope that they will join us, that the Solidarity trade union will join us, that the people of Warsaw will join us. We are also counting on the participation of numerous groups from all over Poland, who have already declared their willingness to participate in this demonstration,” he added.
The demonstration will take place on Friday, 1 October at noon in front of the EC Representation Office at 14/16A Jasna Street in Warsaw.
