Current issues related to European policy, economic cooperation, and Polish-Austrian bilateral relations were the subject of the Tuesday meeting between Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. The President of Austria is on an official visit to Poland.
The President of Austria has been in Poland since Monday. During his visit, he is accompanied by his spouse Doris Schmidauer. On Tuesday (5 Oct), Alexander Van der Bellen met with President Andrzej Duda, Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
“Today’s meeting with the President of Austria, Mr Alexander Van der Bellen. We talked about current issues related to European policy, economic cooperation, and our bilateral relations. This is the first visit of the President to Poland and I hope he will remember it enjoyably,” Morawiecki wrote.
