Verdict in a high-profile paedophile case. “Teenage stalker” will be in jail

The District Court in Wejherowo sentenced Krystian W. alias Krystek for the so-called electronic sexual corruption of a minor to 2.5 years in prison. The case is related to the suicide death of 14-year-old Anaid in March 2015.

Today the District Court in Wejherowo announced the sentence in the case against Krystian W. alias Krystek, who is responsible for electronic contacts with minors for paedophile purposes.

The District Court sentenced “Krystek” to 2.5 years in prison and a 3-year restraining order prohibiting him from approaching one of the injured girls for less than 100 meters and prohibiting him from contacting her in any way. Only the verdict was public – its justification due to the welfare of the wronged girls was kept secret.

The man used Facebook and Messenger to contact the two teenagers and through manipulation promised jobs, funded dinners and car rides; wanted to sexually abuse the girls.

The trial is connected with the suicide of 14-year-old Anaid, who threw herself in front of a train in the Gdańsk district of Oruń. The fact that the girl had contacts with the then 37-year-old “Krystek” was discovered by her mother. Only then did the prosecutor’s investigation begin. It turned out that Anaid had told a friend that she had met the man who had raped her.

Anaid’s suicide led to the main trial in which the “teenage girl stalker,” as the media called him, is responsible for the sexual abuse of more than 30 young girls.
