Director of the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (MCSU) prof. Marek Pietraś received the title of the “Best Foreign Scientist in Ukraine in 2021” – informed university.
As reported on Tuesday by the spokeswoman for the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Aneta Adamska, the title of the Best Foreign Scientist was awarded to prof. Pietraś by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (the equivalent of the Polish Academy of Sciences) and the Union of Scientists of Ukraine.
“Prof. Marek Pietraś was honoured for his contribution to the development of scientific cooperation between Poland and Ukraine. His award was voted by the Ukrainian parliament,” said Adamska.
Prof. Marek Pietraś has been involved in the development of scientific cooperation between Poland and Ukraine for many years. These activities include the development of scientific contacts and research with universities in Ukraine, as well as joint teaching.
The partners of the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration of MCSU are, among others Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv, Institute of International Relations, Ivan Franko National University in Lviv.
