    Reconstruction of the Saxon Palace

The government established the company, which will rebuild the Saxon Palace. Jan Edmund Kowalski became the President, Robert Cicirko the vice president, and Robert Bernisz a member of the management board. “This is the next stage in the process of rebuilding the Palace inaugurated by the Polish President,” said the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

As emphasized by the Minister of Culture Piotr Gliński during the ceremony at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the establishment of the Spółka Celowa Pałac Saski (Special Purpose Company Saxon Palace) is “the next stage in the process of rebuilding the Saxon Palace, Brühl Palace and tenement houses at Królewska Street, inaugurated by the president,”.

As he added, “the decision to rebuild the Saski Palace, Brühl Palace and tenement houses at Królewska Street complete the historic architectural layout and end the process of rebuilding Warsaw after the war”.

“Reconstruction is primarily important for the identity of the Polish community, Polish historical heritage, but also the future,” he assessed.
