Ukrainian forces shot down an enemy aircraft over Kyiv in the early hours of Friday, which then hit a residential building and caused a fire, said Anton Herashchenko, adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Minister.
❗️#Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that at least 3 people were injured as a result of the explosion, one of whom is in serious condition. Rescuers continue to work at the site of the tragedy and do not rule out the chance of the apartment building collapsing. pic.twitter.com/qpPRWb0LJi

It is unclear if the plane was manned. Herashchenko wrote in the telegram that a nine-storey apartment building is on fire that was hit by a plane.
Previously, a series of explosions were heard in Kyiv in which, according to Herashchenko, the air defence shot at the plane.
Horrific Russian rocket strikes on Kyiv. Last time our capital experienced anything like this was in 1941 when it was attacked by Nazi Germany. Ukraine defeated that evil and will defeat this one. Stop Putin. Isolate Russia. Severe all ties. Kick Russia out of everywhete.

On Thursday morning, Russia began the invasion of Ukraine on full-scale. The defence of Kyiv had information about a planned Russian attack on the city that night.
‼️ Air defense sirens were turned on in #Kyiv. An aerial threat was declared!
After hearing the sound of sirens, the city administration recommends leaving everything and running to the nearest shelter.
