The winner of Poland’s Got Talent in 2013, Tetiana Galitsyna, along with Vlodyr – her student and another Got Talent participant – and a team of artists from Galitsyna Art Group will perform at Łódź Philharmonic at the beginning of April. The Ukrainian artists will present “The Little Prince” through a form of sand animation and speed-painting.
Tetiana Galitsyna discovered sand animation in 2009, after the birth of her daughter. She liked it and shortly after opened a studio called “Art4show”. In 2013, she was invited to participate in Got Talent eliminations. She passed to the final, where she won getting the majority of votes from the audience. Later she moved to Warsaw, where she opened the “Galitsyna Art School”. One of her biggest projects was a promotion clip of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Tetiana Galitsyna met Vlodyr in a tattoo saloon in Crimea. Noticing his talent, she offered him to co-work with her studio. After a year of performances and exhibitions organised by Tetiana’s company, he decided to join the 2015 edition of Poland’s Got Talent. He showed the art of speed-painting by painting one of the show’s hosts – Augustin Egurrola. He mostly paints portraits in his studio in Kharkiv.
On April 3rd, 4th and 9th in Łódź Philharmonic the artists will perform the iconic story of “The Little Prince” through the medium of sand animation and speed painting. To get a taste of their art, you can watch Tetiana’s performance on Got Talent here and Vlodyr’s here.
