U.S. journalist Juan confirms that he was with New York Times journalist Brent Renaud when he was shot and killed by Russian forces in Irpin.
Juan says Brent was shot in the neck.
He didn’t know at that point that Brent had died from his wounds.

According to Andriy Nebytov, the head of the Kyiv Oblast police, video journalist Brent Renaud was killed on March 13 in Irpin, a satellite city outside of Kyiv. Two other journalists were wounded and hospitalized.
