    In the Pniówek coal mine, the search operation of seven miners trapped underground after Wednesday’s methane explosions was discontinued. It is a difficult decision, but it was made due to the threat to the functioning of miners in the rest of the plant, explains the management board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. Yesterday evening, there were more explosions.

    PNIÓWEK RESCUE OPERATION ABANDONED

     

    The 58th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine brought a Russian offensive in Donbas. Up to 25 tactical battalion groups supported by bombers attacked Izjum – a city in the eastern part of the country.

     

    This is not the end of the tragedy that has been taking place for over eight weeks. Other innocent people are losing their lives as a result of Russia’s military actions in Ukraine. During the morning shelling in the Kharkiv region, two people were killed.

     

    Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki participated in inter-governmental consultations in Slovakia. The topics of the talks included, among others, Russian aggression against Ukraine, and energy and economic policy. Yesterday, it was a turning point in the history of Europe and we must not hide our heads in the sand, said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a joint conference with the head of the Slovak government.
