“A fake order of a Polish general, created for propaganda purposes, was used in disinformation actions against Poland,” Stanisław Żaryn, Spokesperson of the Minister-Special Services Coordinator, informed.
“Russia is carrying out another coordinated information operation against Poland,” he added.
“Based on counterfeit, numerous deceitful publications appeared in Russian media. Russian propaganda, pretending to be BBC, also created a falsified video propagating the Russian narrative. The objective of disinformation actions was to use a falsified – fabricated – order of one of Polish generals to spread false claims regarding Poland,” Żaryn wrote.
As he pointed out the order had been used to legitimize insinuations about Polish plans to attack western UA.
The spokesperson of the Minister-Special Services Coordinator also referred to a fake letter and its promotion in mainstream media together with the fabricated a fake video as an indicator that Russia is carrying out a coordinated information operation against Poland.
