Poles are proud of aiding Ukraine, poll reveals

Sixty-seven per cent of Poles in a survey for the wpolityce.pl website said they were proud of the aid Poland has extended to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

Eighteen per cent said they felt no pride in Poland’s aid to Ukraine, and 15 per cent could not say.

Pride in Polish aid to Ukraine was voiced by 85 per cent of supporters of Poland’s ruling United Right coalition and 84 per cent of voters for the main opposition grouping, Civic Coalition (KO).

The computer-assisted survey was run by the Social Changes pollster on December 23-27 on a sample of 1,054 Poles.
