‘EO’ by Jerzy Skolimowski won six Polish Film Awards Eagles 2023 on Monday, including the one for the best film.
“The honors that I receive from the Academy are the recognition of people who really know each other, make films and are able to appreciate the effort of the creators. So, thank you very much.” ,
said the director.
The 25th gala of the Polish Film Awards Eagles 2023 was held at Arnold Szyfman Polish Theatre in Warsaw.
Six statuettes – for the best film, direction, script (Ewa Piaskowska and Jerzy Skolimowski), cinematography (Michał Dymek), music (Paweł Mykietyn) and editing (Agnieszka Glińska) – went to the creators of the Oscar-nominated “IO” Jerzy Skolimowski.
The organizers of the gala connected with the director, who is currently in the United States preparing for The Academy Awards ceremony (The Oscars).
