The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first-level weather alerts early Sunday morning for several provinces in Poland. Freezing precipitation leading to icy conditions is forecasted, with warnings in effect for nearly the entire country.
Alerted Regions
Alerts exclude the Podlaskie province, the eastern parts of Warmian-Masurian, Masovian, and Lubusz provinces, as well as the western parts of West Pomeranian, Lubusz, and Lower Silesian provinces. The alerts are effective from morning until evening on Sunday. Cloud cover will be extensive nationwide, with rain and sleet in the west, freezing rain and sleet in the center, and snow in the northeast.

Maximum temperatures will range from -2 degrees in the northeast to 7 degrees in the west. Residents are urged to stay informed about the weather conditions and take necessary precautions. Road users should exercise caution due to the risk of icy surfaces.
