The Chief of the National Security Bureau of Poland, Jacek Siewiera, highlighted significant developments following Iran’s large-scale attack on Israel. Over a single night, Iran launched approximately 300 drones and missiles, aiming at Israeli targets, a retaliation for the earlier bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, which resulted in the deaths of several Iranian officers.
Despite the severe assault, Israel’s advanced missile defense systems successfully intercepted 99% of these threats. This military response underscores the technological edge that Western allies, including the USA, UK, and France, provide in such conflicts, enhancing Israel’s air defense capabilities.

According to Siewiera, the intensified conflict could lead Iran to exercise more caution in distributing drone technologies, which have previously been used to support attacks in Ukraine. “The necessity to conserve resources for its own defense might limit Iran’s capacity to supply its allies with such technologies,” Siewiera explained during a press briefing.
