Polish shooter Łukasz Czapla has once again proven his exceptional talent by winning the bronze medal at the European Shooting Championships in Plzeň, Czech Republic. Competing in the 10-meter Running Target event, Czapla, who represents Petarda Kraków, secured his 15th European Championship medal, further solidifying his place among the sport’s elite.
The competition began with Czapla facing challenges in the slow-fire rounds, where he scored 287 points—slightly below his usual standards. However, he made a remarkable comeback in the rapid-fire rounds, achieving an impressive 582 points overall, which placed him at the top of the qualification standings. Despite this, he narrowly lost in the semifinals to Finland’s Aaro Vuorimaa but redeemed himself by defeating Germany’s Kris Grossheim 6:2 in the bronze medal match.
