    Award-Winning Historians Honored

    Grzegorz Hryciuk won the prize for his book Przesiedleńcy. Wielka epopeja Polaków 1944-1946, which explores the displacement of Poles after WWII. His work was praised for its in-depth analysis of forced migrations in Eastern Europe and their lasting impact. Kalina Błażejowska received the award for her work Bezduszni. Zapomniana zagłada chorych, documenting the Nazi euthanasia program targeting disabled individuals in Poland.

    Special Recognition for Ukraine War Reporting

    Christopher Miller was recognized with a special award for his book The War Came To Us, covering Russian atrocities in Ukraine. His powerful reporting captures the voices of victims and witnesses in the ongoing conflict.
