Trump’s Possible Visit to Poland in April

Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has suggested that U.S. President Donald Trump may visit Poland in April. Speaking at the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) congress in Brussels, Morawiecki revealed that Trump’s office remains in contact with Polish President Andrzej Duda’s administration.

Strengthening Security and Diplomacy

Morawiecki highlighted Trump’s previous visit to Poland during his first term, emphasizing his support for the Three Seas Initiative. He underscored the strategic importance of this regional cooperation, linking the Baltic, Black, and Adriatic Seas, as a key factor in strengthening Poland’s security. A potential visit could further solidify U.S.-Polish relations.

The former prime minister also noted that Trump’s visit could impact Poland’s economic and trade policies. With Trump expected to introduce new global trade measures, Poland’s ability to navigate diplomatic relations will be crucial for its economic well-being. Morawiecki criticized the current Polish government’s strained ties with the U.S., urging them to improve relations.

While Trump’s visit remains unconfirmed, Morawiecki believes it would reflect the president’s strong connection with Poland. His presence could influence both economic and political landscapes, potentially shaping Poland’s future engagements with the U.S.
