The suggestion expressed by Donald Tusk is a lie and manipulation, President Andrzej Duda declared in response to the Prime Minister’s post directed at him. “Is this how a serious and responsible Prime Minister of a country behaves?” – the president wrote on platform X.

Tusk’s Manipulations
As usual, the leader of the snarling coalition attempted to strike at President Andrzej Duda, but once again, he failed.
“The publicly expressed suggestion by President Duda that we could give away our Polish copper to the Americans in exchange for their support is, however, a step too far,” Tusk wrote on X.
The Prime Minister’s post appeared after President Duda was asked in an interview with a television station whether, “in the era of Donald Trump, we can still count on America, or whether the day might come when Trump says: ‘Do you want American troops in Poland? Give me your copper.'”
“If President Donald Trump finds himself in a situation where he spends hundreds of billions of dollars to support Poland, I cannot say what expectations he might have towards us. However, for now, such a situation does not exist,” the president responded.
“We Are a Responsible Ally”
When asked whether he was concerned about such a possibility, he replied:
“I hope such a situation does not arise because, for now, he (Trump) calls us a very responsible ally. He says that, rather, he has obligations towards Poland because, after all, he recently stated himself that he feels indebted to Poland,” Andrzej Duda explained.
The president added, “I am glad that he says such things because I truly believe that we are a very responsible ally.”
