“The Necessity of Structuring What Mrs. Skrzypek Said” – Dubois’ Troubling Words

Since Saturday, public opinion has been stirred by the sudden death of Barbara Skrzypek, a close associate of the Law and Justice (PiS) party leader, Jarosław Kaczyński. The 66-year-old woman passed away three days after her interrogation, which continues to raise further questions about possible causes.

A lawyer present during the questioning has shed some light on the matter. Attorney Jacek Dubois openly admitted what consumed the majority of the time during Wednesday’s proceedings.

“Those four hours (the interrogation lasted from 10:00 am to 2:40 pm – editor’s note) were, contrary to appearances, not due to an extensive protocol, but simply due to the necessity of structuring what Mrs Barbara Skrzypek—who was an extremely dynamic person—said into sentences that… well… could actually be recorded in the protocol,”

he said today on TOK FM.

This statement was quoted on social media by Paweł Jabłoński.

In another post, Jabłoński explains that the protocol “should contain all statements with the highest possible accuracy (and upon request—with full accuracy).”

“This is precisely why it is worth having a lawyer—to pay attention to such matters,”

 the PiS politician pointed out.
