Tusk FINALLY Speaks Out. Attacks President Andrzej Duda

Poles had been wondering since Saturday evening: where is Donald Tusk? Following the news of the passing of the late Barbara Skrzypek, the Prime Minister remained silent. It seems that a letter sent to him by the President triggered his anger… Tusk lashed out on social media, directly attacking President Andrzej Duda and railing against what he called lawlessness.

Barbara Skrzypek Passes Away

On Saturday morning, at the age of 66, Barbara Skrzypek, a close associate of the PiS chairman, passed away. This occurred three days after she underwent a nearly five-hour-long interrogation. The questioning was led by prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, supported by two attorneys representing the auxiliary prosecutor. Skrzypek was interrogated alone, with her legal representative not allowed to be present.

The President’s Letter to Tusk

Yesterday, President Andrzej Duda revealed that he had sent a letter to Donald Tusk, requesting explanations regarding the interrogation of Barbara Skrzypek. According to the Polish head of state, the entire situation “raises concerns” and is “deeply disturbing.”

Seven Questions

“Given the significance of this matter for public opinion and the trust of citizens in state institutions, particularly the judiciary, I call on the Prime Minister to ensure that the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General provide the following clarifications,” the letter to Tusk reads.

Silence… and Then Suddenly

Since Saturday evening, the public had been wondering: where is Donald Tusk in all this tragedy that befell Barbara Skrzypek and her loved ones? He remained silent. He did not make a single public statement—until today. Clearly angered by the President’s questions, he decided to respond with a brief but fierce attack on Andrzej Duda. And he did so in a particularly harsh manner, accusing the President of being “co-responsible” for PiS’s “lawlessness.”

“Mr. President, restoring the rule of law after eight years of lawlessness, for which you bear co-responsibility, has been and remains my government’s top priority. The days when the President, Prime Minister, or party chairman could influence investigations are over. You’ll have to get used to it,” he declared.

But, Mr. Tusk—who illegally took over public media? Who created chaos in the prosecution service and judiciary? Who is feeding Poles nothing but political spectacle instead of real governance? Who has led numerous companies to ruin? Who is responsible for the lawlessness that has plagued our country for over a year? Internet users were quick to remind him of these questions in response to his post.
