“I am privileged and honored to have been chosen among so many other great coaches,” admitted coach of Polish men’s national volleyball team Nikola Grbić. The new coach of the Polish women’s national team, Stefano Lavarini, also spoke about the pride of the appointment in his first statement.
“I just wanna say that I am privileged and honored to have been chosen between other great coaches to be the first national team coach,” Grbić said in a video that the Polish Volleyball Federation posted on social media.
The 48-year-old Serbian made no secret that his plan for working with the volleyball team is simple.
“Of course, our plan is always the same – to play to the maximum of our abilities, to achieve the best results at each tournament,” he said.
Grbić also admitted that it was a great pleasure for him to come back to Poland and work here again.
