The situation on the Polish-Belarusian border remains tense. Every day the Border Guard records new attempts to illegally enter Poland. Spokesperson of the Minister-Special Services Coordinator Stanisław Żaryn referred to this on Twitter today (Jen 13).
“So far almost 400 attempts to illegally enter Poland recorded in 2022. Yesterday again there were attempts to cross the border from Belarus, but also attacks on Polish patrols,” wrote Spokesperson of the Minister-Special Services Coordinator Stanisław Żaryn on Twitter.
“Yesterday the Belarusian services were throwing stones at Poles and they were cutting the barrier. There were no foreigners with them,” he added.
“The hybrid operation targeted at PL, LT, and LV with the aim of destabilizing the EU and NATO is still going on. The actions of Lukashenko’s regime are in line with the Russian scenario. This operation is an element of the aggressive Russian politics against the West,” concluded.
