    Biggest natural disaster in the Middle East in 80 years – Over 11,000 dead & over 50,000 injured

    It’s been nearly 72 hours since the first earthquake struck southeastern Turkey and northern Syria. The number of dead has already exceeded 11,000 and continues to rise. More than 50,000 have been injured. Search and rescue operations are continuing in both countries. A spokesman for the Polish Foreign Ministry said that so far there is no information that Polish citizens have suffered as a result of the earthquake.
