    BREAKING: Urgent meeting at National Security Bureau. Associated Press cites US intelligence: “Russian missiles fell on Polish territory”

    “In view of the emergency, the Prime Minister, in agreement with the President, has called a meeting at the BBN. I appeal not to publish unconfirmed information,” says a government spokesperson. According to unofficial information, both the urgent meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defence Affairs and the National Security Bureau (BBN – ed.) are related to the incident in the Lublin province.

    According to our information – in connection with this incident, the Prime Minister, in consultation with the President, convened a meeting at the National Security Bureau. Earlier, an urgent meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defence Affairs was called.

    A government spokesman, however, urges that unconfirmed information should not be published.

    He added that “any information that is presented at the Committee today will later be shared, if possible, to the fullest extent possible with the State for the public.”

    “I urge you not to publish unconfirmed information until then, we will comment on it and report on it after the meeting, which is now taking place, once the relevant information has been presented by the services that will report on these events,” the government spokesman said.

    A senior U.S. intelligence official says Russian missiles crossed into NATO member Poland, killing two people. A Polish government spokesman did not immediately confirm the information, but said leaders were meeting on “crisis situation.”

    The meeting was attended by, among others, the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kaminski, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zbigniew Rau, the Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, as well as the Commander of the Armed Forces Operations and the Commander-in-Chief of the Police.

    Earlier on Twitter, Müller announced that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki had urgently convened a Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defence Affairs.

    Today, the Russians launched an attack on energy infrastructure facilities across Ukraine – using at least 100 missiles. This was the most massive missile attack since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
