Czarnek Confident in PiS Victory Amid Presidential Speculation

Przemysław Czarnek, a former Minister of Education and prominent Law and Justice (PiS) member, has emerged as a potential candidate for the 2025 Polish presidential election. Speaking at the Pomeranian Congress of National Memory in Gdańsk, Czarnek emphasized his dedication to the PiS campaign, regardless of who becomes the party’s nominee. “You will witness a great victory for PiS in the May elections,” he declared.

    Rivalry Among Potential Candidates

Czarnek and Karol Nawrocki, head of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), are considered frontrunners for the nomination. PiS Deputy Speaker Ryszard Terlecki confirmed the party is evaluating its choices, focusing on candidates with the best chances of winning. While Czarnek expressed confidence in the party’s eventual success, Nawrocki refrained from commenting on his potential candidacy, instead stressing his commitment to his current role.

The decision on PiS’s candidate will be made by Jarosław Kaczyński and the party’s Political Committee. Czarnek vowed to actively campaign nationwide, regardless of the nominee. He highlighted PiS’s unified approach and optimistic outlook for the upcoming election.
