    Minister Zbigniew Rau concluded his visit to Vietnam

    On 16-17 March, Zbigniew Rau, the head of the Polish diplomacy, paid a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. He discussed bilateral cooperation, political partnership and other international matters. 

    During his trip, he conducted political talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Bui Thanh Son. Additionally, he was granted a meeting with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chính, and the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Nguyen Duc Hai.

    Discussions between the two countries focused on areas of bilateral collaboration, particularly in terms of economic and political partnerships, in addition to international matters. The meetings at the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed a desire from both sides to develop collaboration further, particularly in terms of trade, commerce, and investment.

    The Polish and Vietnamese foreign ministers outlined the agri-food sector, pharmaceuticals, green and modern technologies, digitalisation, the defence sector, and education as the most beneficial avenues for collaboration. Furthermore, they conversed about the Russian attack on Ukraine and its effects on safety in the Asia-Pacific area.
