Tens of thousands gathered at a demonstration before the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw today. However, the capital’s “Free Poles Protest” was not the sole expression of dissent against the government’s unconstitutional actions.
On Saturday, the Free Poles Protest took place before the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw, standing as a strong opposition to Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government’s announcement of plans to remove judges from the Tribunal.
Responding to a call from the “Gazeta Polska Clubs,” patriotic groups from across Poland participated in the demonstration in large numbers. Those unable to make it to the capital staged protests in their localities.
