Polish authorities have submitted an extradition request to the UK for Stuart B., popularly known as “Stuu,” a prominent YouTuber. The request is part of an ongoing investigation into a case involving the alleged sexual exploitation of minors within the online influencer sphere.
Investigation and Legal Proceedings
The Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office, under the directive of the Attorney General, initiated an inquiry into the sexual exploitation of minors within the YouTube influencer community. The investigation is ongoing, with extensive efforts to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
Stuart B. has been charged with sexual exploitation of minors under the age of 15 and providing alcohol to minors. Following the prosecutor’s request, he has been remanded in custody for three months, enabling the issuance of an international arrest warrant.
Strong Evidence Against Stuart B.
The court emphasized the substantial likelihood of Stuart B. having committed the alleged offenses based on the evidence collected by the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office.
Poland has issued an arrest warrant, replacing the extradition request in dealings with the UK. This arrest warrant, along with the request to hand over the suspect to Polish authorities, has already been forwarded to British authorities.
In a significant development, Stuart B. was apprehended in the UK based on the Polish arrest warrant, as confirmed by Poland’s Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Zbigniew Ziobro.
