PiS prepares a political offensive, focusing on unity, legal actions, and a positive agenda, says former PM Mateusz Morawiecki.
After transitioning to the opposition in December 2023, Poland’s Law and Justice party (PiS) is gearing up for a new political season. Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki recently revealed several key points of PiS’s strategy on TV Republika. The plan includes maintaining party unity, launching a series of political actions, and creating a legal team to investigate alleged government misconduct. “We will report all fraud, constitutional violations, and other abuses,” said Morawiecki.
Promoting a Positive Agenda
Morawiecki emphasized PiS’s commitment to promoting a positive program, citing past successes like improved funding for local infrastructure. “We will continue to fight against the destruction of our people and support free Poles across Europe and America,” he stated.
Critique of Current Government
The former prime minister also criticized the current government’s policies, pointing to rising unemployment and the decline of state companies like PKP Cargo. He called on Poles to recognize these losses and the impact on Poland’s economy.
