    Poland’s President meets with Prince of Wales

    Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, had a discussion with the Prince of Wales about providing assistance to Ukraine in need. The Prince of Wales expressed his appreciation to the Polish citizens for their graciousness and hospitality.

    The Secretary of State, Head of the International Policy Bureau Marcin Przydacz and Secretary of State Wojciech Kolarski also participated in the conversation. 

    “President Andrzej Duda met with His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The topic of conversation was humanitarian aid to the struggling Ukraine. The Prince of Wales conveyed his thanks to the Poles for their generosity and hospitality,”

    the President’s Chancellery informed.

    On TVN 24’s morning programme, the International Policy Bureau chief, when asked about the political significance of Prince William’s visit, stressed that Polish-British relations were going very well indeed. He also recalled that President Andrzej Duda and, a few days later, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with Great Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

    The minister assessed that this visit would certainly strengthen Polish-British relations. He also mentioned that this is another time that Prince William is visiting Poland. 

    “This is such a renewal of specific, basically strategic Polish-British relations. I think that this is what we should focus on today. However, the specifics are already being established through diplomatic channels and in political relations with Downing Street,”

    Marcin Przydacz assessed.
