    Polish President deliberates on security issues with his Lithuanian counterpart

    President Andrzej Duda of Poland engaged in a crucial telephone discussion with his Lithuanian counterpart, President Gitanas Nauseda, focusing on regional security. This notable conversation was officially disclosed by the Polish President’s Office on Friday evening.

    Through a post on the popular X social media platform, the President’s Office (KPRP) underscored that the central theme of yesterday’s telephonic exchange between the heads of state of Poland and Lithuania was the security landscape within the region. This exchange underlines the shared commitment of both nations to address and strengthen regional security concerns.

    Earlier in the same day, President Duda had a series of discussions concerning the prevailing security environment. He conferred with Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, reflecting Poland’s engagement and collaboration within the transatlantic security alliance. Additionally, President Duda also held talks with Edgars Rinkevics, the President of Latvia, further highlighting the interconnectedness of security dynamics across the Baltic and broader European context.
